From conception to construction, my work is inspired by systems, structure and process. Though chance and evolution are embraced by the construction process, my work echoes a network or system of complex dynamics, itself creating a system of material elements.                                                                                                                             

Using light, wood and other naturally resonant material is significant as it conveys a deep and harmonic connection to our physical surroundings. My aim is to create a visual language that describes our relationship to the many vast and intricate structures that surround us.

I am fascinated by the Universe, its substance, structure and complexity; the way in which we utilise modes of scientific and mathematical analysis to explain its phenomena, expanding perceptions in order to find our place within it.
